Examinations at CEC
Below you will find more information regarding Exams at Cranbrook Education Campus. This includes links to our Exams Policy which outlines expectations and procedures relating to examinations and other assessments. This can be found below and all students should read this before taking any of these assessments.
We have included various guides for parents and students to deal with the preparations for exams and how to deal with the stresses of the next couple of months.
Summer 2025 Exams
Summer exams will take place from 12th May to 25th June 2025. All students are expected to be available for exams up to and including 25th June 2025, in case exam boards reschedule a paper due to disruption. Please ensure that you DO NOT book holidays during this time as we will not be able to rearrange exams for this reason.
Please take some time to review the documents at the bottom of this page. This outlines the guidance and restrictions which apply to all students nationally.
Timetables for Summer exams of 2025 will be finalised in the Spring Term. Contingency Days for summer GCSE season are planned until 25th June 2025 so please make sure that holidays are booked after this date.
Results and Certificates
Results will be available to collect on Thursday 21st August 2025.
Staff will be available in school (times tbc) to deal with any specific exam related guidance you may require.
If candidates would like the results sent via email, they will need to email [email protected] from the email address they would like the results to go. Requests for results to be e-mailed to a different address MUST be received by 6th July 2025. The request may not be processed if received after this date. Results will not be emailed to anyone other than the candidate and can not be given out by telephone.
Examination certificates are legal documents and need to be checked and signed for by the owner. Certificates are kept for one year from issue before being sent back to the Awarding Bodies. These are usually available to collect from the Campus from December 1st but we will contact students and parents nearer the time.
Private Candidates
At this time, we are unable to offer Private Candidates to sit exams at Cranbrook Education Campus. This is something that may change as the campus grows
